So for this project my teacher has given us an image of a toy air plane with a tiny pilot in it and has asked us and I quote "Hey go make me something!". So given the air plane I decided it would be cool to hang it with this image of other airplanes that look like there racing. So I placed the image of the air plane and added some strings and clone tooled the thumbnails at the top to make it look like the image belonged there. I think it turned out pretty well overall and I actually enjoyed the project despite how easy it was!

Giant Ego
So for this project I took a giant girl who was confined into a wooden box and placed her into this image. Obviously this project is not completed as you can see some things that don't fit the image, but this was what I have done so for and I intend to possibly finish it in the future. I worked a lot with the pen tool as I had to pen tool her into the image. Also I worked a lot with coloring like with hue, saturation, and curves to get the right colors of the girl and background to match each other. Overall so far the project wasn't as challenging as I expected it to be, but very time consuming as you have to fix every little detail to make the image look more realistic. Again the project is not finish, but I plan to finish it in the near future as I want to see how it will turn out in the end with everything I'm learning from the tutorial.

Crappy To Snappy Pt. 2
So this is Crappy To Snappy Pt. 2 where I re-designed the website for Classic Reflections Car Club. In the last blog I posted the original website and what it currently looks like and as you saw it wasn't all that great. It wasn't very appealing, the information was scattered, and the color, font, and logo size just didn't work well together. So as you can see in my design I made it more organized and appealing to the eye. I used different fonts to organize the information and I made sure that the colors of the website went together with the cars and logo. I personally think my design is better compared to the original as it is easier to navigate through the information provided. I had trouble in the beginning trying to find a way to re-design something that had not a lot to go by with, but as I navigated the website I was able to come up with a design that would be perfect for this website.

Crappy To Snappy Pt.1
So here you can see a website for Classic Reflections Car Club. There purpose for this website and their club is to raise money for area charities and enjoy the hobby of collecting and restoring old cars. Now as you can see there's not much to this website and that all the information is scattered everywhere. It's not very appealing to the eye and it just doesn't capture my attention. The logo is just way to big and the choices for font and color don't really work together. So what I plan to do to make this website better is one keep the logo, but make it smaller. Show some of the cars that are featured, change the font and color, the design of the whole website to make it look new and more attractive to the eye.

Illustrator Map (Japan)
So for this project we went in illustrator and created a map of a place of our choosing. I chose Japan as I find the buildings there very interesting to create. Although this is my version of the buildings, I tried very hard to recreate the buildings as close as I could. I think the most challenging part for this project was creating the buildings themselves as you had to use your own creativity to construct the buildings as you would see them. I would use the shape tool, pen tool, and the direct select tool to create the buildings to get it a certain perspective. I spent weeks on this project, but I was pleased with the end result. Overall the project was challenging, but it it taught me a lot of techniques I could use later in the future for other projects similar to this project.

Holiday Project
For my holiday project I decided to create with molding clay a figurine of Olaf from the Disney movie Frozen. I loved the fun loving movie so much that I decided to make the snowman Olaf. He is a very sweet, funny, and caring snowman and is very lovable. All I really did to make this figurine was find a picture of Olaf on the internet, then go to the store and by the materials I need like the molding clay, and finally molding the clay together to create this creative snowman. It took a lot of time to finish it, but it was worth every second to see how it turned out in the end. I had a lot of fun making the figurine and it helped me improve on my artistic skills. So that's was my holiday project and I am glad I was able to create this snowman with the skills I learned. Have a happy holiday!
