Update Portfolio

  So I decided to update my portfolio and made a few changes in the cover page. As you can see the colors have changed and so has the font style. I have now made my portfolio interactive by exporting it as a PDF and have made sure all my buttons that I've used worked. I think it was creating the buttons that gave me difficultly, but thankfully I was able to create them with help from my instructor and friends. Overall I had a lot of fun creating my portfolio and looking back at all the past projects I created over the years. Seeing them now and how far I've come into creating all theses projects, made me realize how much I learned over the years in Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, and etc.

  For this project I created my very first avatar of myself in Illustrator. Most of this avatar was made from pen tool as I pen tooled the original photo of myself to create this avatar. After I just filled in colors and used the brush tool to define some of my hair especially with the red streaks in my hair. I think I had most difficultly with for this project was the sunglasses, but thankfully I figured out what I needed to do and accomplished it.

Portrait Of Oh Me

  This is a picture of me that was taken by my teacher Mr. Cole that I later retouched to make my photo not necessary fake, but just enough so that this photo would be just the perfect picture for me that day. I used tools like the Healing Brush Tool, Healing Brush Tool, and Clone Stamp for my hair and face. I also used Dodge and Burn to lighten and darken areas around my face, neck, and hair to define them more. I highlighted my eyes a little and sharpened then. Then finally I cropped my picture and tada!

Troll

  For this little project I did I made a sort of Troll logo. I learned a lot from it like using the pen tool, warping text, shadows, and etc. It took me a long time to complete this project and I feel like in the future I will go back and change a few things, but for now this is my final for the Troll project.

Logo

  So this is my first rough draft of the logo I'm creating for Mama B's Bakery. I still plan to work more on it in the future, however I am open to any suggestions or comments you may have to help me improve on my logo. I came up with this cute little design on the top of my head and just envision what I saw and sketched it out. Like I said it's still in working progress, but I hope to improve it more.

Cover Portfolio

 

  So this is my portfolio that I have created in InDesign. I have placed all my projects from over the past three years into the portfolio, but for now I will just show the cover of it. This is my first time creating a portfolio in InDesign and have learned the many advantages with working in InDesign. I learned how to create buttons that navigate through my portfolio smoothly which is very cool and useful for future projects.
